Dr Munnira Moosa graduated from the University of Cape Town Medical School in 1998, and went on to complete her internship at the Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria the following year.
She completed her community service at the Addington Hospital in Durban during the year 2000.
Munnira obtained a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Dip.Obs.SA) at the College of Medicine (South Africa) in 2002 and also completed a surgical skills course that year at the Johannnesburg General Hospital.
Munnira thereafter practised in the United Kingdom for two years in the corporate wellness and insurance sectors. She began working with Kaelo Corporate on her return to South Africa, conducting corporate health assessments and insurance medicals on behalf of Discovery Health and Momentum.
She went on to manage and practice at the Primary Health Care Centre at the Louis Pasteur Hospital in Pretoria for a period of 5 years, where she specialised inter alia in HIV management and was instrumental in establishing the Rape Care Centre at the facility.
The medical sector is continuously evolving, and Munnira regularly augments her qualifications and skills in order to ensure that her practice is always able to provide cutting-edge technology and medical intervention techniques to patients.

In 2010 Munnira obtained certification in various areas of aesthetic medicine including botox, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, and other aesthetic procedures.
She went on to complete the American Academy level one course on aesthetic medicine in 2012 and qualified as a hair transplant surgeon during September 2013 at the same institution.
